Promote Armenian heritage and Armenian heritage professionals in Europe 

Promote European quality standards in Armenian monuments preservation

Objectives

Strengthen International Connections: integrate Armenia into a larger European heritage network, by accessing best practices, international funding, and expert guidance, to position Armenia as a key player in cultural preservation

Empower professionals, institutions and communities: through training, education, and pilot projects that reinforce local capacities 

Promote a greater involvement of the younger generations

Protect Armenian Cultural Heritage at Risk: through support and expertise of Europa Nostra and European heritage networks

Unlock Economic and Cultural Value to attract greater investment and recognition

Promote Armenian Cultural heritage internationally and Armenia as a cultural destination

Planned Activities

The Armenian Heritage Hub project consists of the following activities delegated to SIREH and approved by the ArCH Council:

Mapping heritage organizations actives in Armenia and abroad, assessing their needs and aspirations, promoting collaboration and synergies 

Building networks and connecting with relevant European and international institutions

Conducting a research on the Armenian legislation for Cultural Heritage, publishing it  and advocating for legislation that aligns cultural heritage practices with international norms

Promoting the organization of workshops and trainings in Armenia and supporting the participation of Armenian experts and stakeholders to workshops organized abroad

Setting a strategy and the technical framework for communication and outreach
